THURSDAY 7/22/2010

Today is a WORK OUR BUTT OFF day. First we got our test from Wednesday back plus our homework, and I got an A on the test. All of my homework was always good a few times I may have missed one or two questions. Next we took our last daily test. Not sure what it was, but I felt uneasy about this one, I think it was the medical terms maybe. Then we went over our last lecture and finished the book.

Last was where we had to work our butt off to finish the final 5 tasks plus do any retakes if you had any. I passed the final 5, and then I had 3 that I had to retake. First I had to get a elastic knee-high stocking on the Betty, simple, not so much you have to do it with a certain technique and once it is on you look and the small square should be on the heel without having to rotate the stocking. I passed, but I did it on one of my classmates and not Betty or Gertrude. Second I had to weigh someone with one of those balance scales, I passed, lol I added right this time. Lastly I had to transfer someone from the bed with a gait belt to a wheelchair. I passed this also, I remembered to lock the bed and wheelchair and position the wheelchair better. Plus that wheelchair leg has nothing on me anymore, I have found my groove in putting that sucker on by touch.

With all those 25 tasks passed I am allowed to take the final tomorrow!!! TATA 4 NOW
