Day 2 we jumped right into everything!
The class runs from 8am-1pm Tuesday through Friday. We will have 10 quizzes the first being today on the previos days lecture and homework. We also will have to pass 24 simulated tasks on each other to even be able to take the final exam and move on to clinicals. The test went went without a breeze and I think I did pretty great. We had our first 2 simulated tasks today and We had a lot of fun. The first tasks was washing hands, simple right, not so much there are specific steps and a certain way we have to hold our hands and wash them. When I was up and tested, I passed that task, so one of 24 down. The second task we had was putting on and taking off nursing gown and gloves. Again, you think simple , but not so much if you miss a certain step like untie the neck before the back you fail, or touch the outside of gown with bare hands when taking off you fail. I was tested and passed with flying colors again.
Today was an awesome day and can't wait to jump into tomorrow!!!!
