Yay it's Friday and the instructor said if we made it this far it's smooth sailing from here. We shall see LOL. I got my second test back and it was a B, I am very happy with that because the info studied was a lot more involved. We did more tasks today than lecture. We did 3 different ones, taking pulse, taking respirations, and taking someones weight.
When it was my turn to take the pulse of someone, I pulled out my cell phone to use the stop watch on it, because you have to know when a minute is up. The instructor said that they will only allow second hand watches. I just might have to talk to the medical board about this one LOL. I passed the pulse, she allowed me the stopwatch for class. Next were the respirations and I could not see the person breathing in and out so I am allowed to put my hand on their shoulder or tummy. The stopwatch was used again and I passed that. The last thing of the day was checking someones weight, my guinea pig was the instructor and I did all the steps right even read the small print on the scale. Then I added wrong and told her she weighed a lot more than she does. LOL, yah you tell your instructor that you know your gonna re-take that one. So as of one week I only have to re-take 2 tasks that are very doable and my grades are standinding high.
